As we grow older, it's normal for the people around us to change and the people in our lives to leave.
But I'm always concerned when I hear of the death of people I knew well.
Denise Bombardier was one such person.
My concern about the deaths of my loved ones stems from the fact that each of these deaths inevitably brings me closer to my own.
And the big question: what's after death?
