THE WORLD OF MODERN POLITICS IN 2018-

A local story which happened 36 years ago became the full picture of the today political word in United States! 
The story of Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford represents fully where the world of politics is today. A world where no holds barred and where the goal is to destruct the adversary at any cost and by any means. 
It is impossible to say who is telling the truth between Judge Kavanaugh or Dr Ford because the story should have been looked at the time of the event and not today. One could argue that the motivation is not clear for Dr. Ford to having endured such a difficult process to accuse Judge Kavanaugh in front of the whole world at the cost of her own normal life for an event which happened when she was 14 as she is today 52 years old. 
Judge Kavanaugh have a point when he said that the whole effort to accuse him is not because of the event but because the Democrats want to stop the President Donald Trump to manage the country. Half of the population in United States never accepted the 2016 Presidential victory of Donald Trump and they never will! 
One could resume the whole situation by concluding that the actual political world of today is very ugly. As Senator Lindsey Graham said:" If you want justice, you are in the wrong place looking to the politicians and to the world of politics."

THE NEW BIRKS - September 2018

BIRKS AND THE BEAUTIFUL ERA...

The Birks store in downtown Montreal was closed for several months to turn it into a luxury hotel with a Birks shop at the entrance. 
Every time I walk past the Birks large door, I have some sadness to the soul because for me Birks was the lighthouse of downtown Montreal! My first visit to the store was in 1978, 40 years ago on my first trip to Montreal. It was the beautiful time... 
The new Birks store will now be mostly a hotel with a small store offering mainly luxury watches... The product offering is very similar to one of another of my favorite stores, CHÂTEAU D'IVOIRE, also under renovation to enlarge! 
I'm going to miss old Birks! 
Conclusion: "Only memories are eternal and for the rest, nothing is immortal!"

With the arrival of fall comes also the Montreal Marathon. 
However, one must recognize his limits and I have not ventured into this race... 
At the most, I watched the marathon runners from the gallery and I lifted some light dumbbells in my living room. 
It must be recognized, however, that marathon runners are true athletes. And as every year, it is always a small group of black-skinned runners who are leading the group...

THE END OF SUMMER 2018

The summer season is over and the fall of 2018 will be in Saturday, September 22 at 8:54 pm.
However, we cannot say that summer has left because nature is still green and the colors has not invaded the forest. A sign that leaves have not yet reached their end of season stage. 
Conclusion: "Let's enjoy nature to the fullest and long live the life at the cottage...

The US President Donald J. Trump is still full of his winning energy after almost two years in his first mandate. Trump is a gifted orator and public speaker and he loves meeting the people.
