The Beach at Old Port of Montreal is open for the Season 2013

The Beach at Old Port of Montreal has officially opened its doors during the last weekend (1st and 2nd June 2013). One might call this beach "Millionaire" as the development costs that were displayed were at 3, 400, 000 $. In all, the redevelopment of the area around the Clock Tower totaled nearly $ 10 million. The beach is interesting but the marketing has completely missed the target last year. Bad weather or bad marketing? For the 2013 season, it was decided to make the access free. Requesting an entry fee of $ 6 was nonsense because there are too many free offers in the Old Port of Montreal for the public to accept a paid activity that provides only garden chairs and a look at the river.
Personally, I like to go read my newspaper on Sunday afternoon on this terrace, especially if it's free...
