Genevieve Sabourin and the American Justice
by Bernard Bujold (LeStudio1) -
The Quebec actress Geneviève Sabourin will be in front of the American Justice in a week from now, on November 27, unless there is an out of court settlement. The accused is concerned about the objectivity of an eventual trial because the plaintive, the American actor Alex Baldwin, is considered an icon in New York and he is friends with several New York politicians. He is also the spokesperson for the campaign: “I love New York.” The story of Geneviève Sabourin is reminiscent of two other famous cases where defendants have both criticized the lack of objectivity of the justice system in the United States, that of Conrad Black and the Dominique Strauss-Kahn’s case Stay tuned!
